Welcome to the world of Sunsum Germ Busters!
Did you know
that the CHEMICALS in your common household bacteria fighting products and hand sanitizers can be killing more than just GERMS?
The more than 275 different active ingredients in antimicrobial products are classified by EPA as pesticides (an indeed share the same ingredients as rat poison), because they kill microbes. According
to the National Institutes of Health, phenol is toxic and people who are hypersensitive to it could
experience death or serious side effects at very low exposures. Plus, it is rapidly absorbed and
can cause toxicity throughout the entire body. Cresol, a suspected carcinogen, can cause abdominal pain, vomiting and bloody
diarrhea, if ingested, and even respiratory, circulatory or cardiac failure, in large doses.
Are you using aerosol disinfectants, hand sanitizers and wipes?
The American Medical Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention both say that you don't need these
toxic antibacterial products to stay safe and clean in the home.
But there’s more to this recommendation than meets the eye – something the CDC finds far more troubling than
triclosan’s mere shortcomings as a soap. In the larger picture, triclosan (and its cousin triclocarban)
pose serious and unacceptable risks to human health and the environment. These risks are so great that the Food and Drug Administration
has been asked by its advisory panel to ban or restrict the use of these antibacterial agents in household products.
The Journal of Emerging Infectious Diseases states that these products should not be
used in the home except in cases of those with severe immuno-suppressant diseases.
Interestingly,
the molecular composition and medicinal compounds found in essential oils make them especially useful in killing an
assortment of germs, harmful bacteria and viral infections-WITHOUT TOXIC CHEMICALS. Eucalyptus oil, for example, has been shown to kill 70% of staphylococcus bacteria by simply being diffused
into the air of an affected room.
Reuters Health found that two essentials oils (eucalyptus and Melaleuca alternifolia) were effective in treating
MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) infections. In a study of 25 patients, twenty-two of the infections
resolved completely when using the combination once a day for several months. And 10 of those patients were diabetic which
normally makes wound healing quite difficult. The doctors also made an aerosolized version and found out that when it was
sprayed on tuberculosis cultures, it killed the TB in 40 minutes!
The ingredients in these new Germ Buster products have been tested for effectiveness at Weber State
University in Ogden, Utah, and found to have a 99.96 percent success rate against airborne bacteria.
All
of the products contain the base ingredients of Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), Lemon
(Citrus limon), Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus
radiata, Lavender (Lavendula oficialis), Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and Grape Seed Extract.

TEA
TREE & CLOVE-Hemp Seed Soap
Tea Tree oil is regarded as one of the strongest natural antiseptics known to
man. Because of its ability to inhibit and kill growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi and viruses, it makes a great medicinal
soap for cuts and scrapes as well as a multi-purpose antibacterial and facial soap for every day use. While most commercially
available Tea Tree Oil soaps contain less than 1/2% of Tea Tree Oil, ours is superconcentrated and uncut!! Clove oil is a
therapuetic oil that stimulates the hair so that it lifts, allowing for a closer shave. The health benefits of clove oil can
be attributed to its antimicrobial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, aphrodisiac and stimulating properties.
This soap is in a Hemp Seed Oil base- Hemp seed oil replenishes our Essential
Fatty Acids (EFA'S), which helps our skin hold moisture, making it a natural humectant. Hemp seed oil is made up of 80% essential

READ ON FOR IMPORTANT IMFORMATION YOUR FAMILY NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT CHEMICALS AND GERMS.
What Types of Germs Are There?
Germs are found all over the world, in all kinds of places. There are four major types of germs: bacteria, viruses, fungi,
and protozoa. They can invade plants, animals, and people, and many times they make us sick.
Bacteria are tiny, one-cell creatures that get nutrients from their environments in order to live. In
some cases that environment is a human body. Bacteria can reproduce outside of the body or within the body as they cause infections.
Some infections bacteria cause include sore throats, ear infections, cavities, and pneumonia.
But not all bacteria are bad. Some bacteria are good for our bodies - they help keep things in balance. Hand sanitizers
and sprays kill off the good as well as the bad germs.
Viruses can't live outside of living cells. They need to be in or on a living thing like a plant, animal,
or person in order to grow and reproduce. Whatever a virus lives in is called its host. When viruses get inside people's bodies,
they can spread and make people sick. Viruses cause chicken pox, measles, flu, and many other diseases.
Fungi are multi-cell, plant-like organisms. Unlike other plants, fungi cannot make their own food from
soil, water, and air. Instead, fungi get their nutrition from plants, people, and animals. They love to live in damp, warm
places, and most fungi are not dangerous. An example of something caused by fungi is athlete's foot and yeast infections.
Protozoa are one-cell organisms that love moisture and often spread diseases through water. Some protozoa
cause intestinal infections that lead to diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain.
Is there proof that Essential Oils fight germs? Look at the latest research (what ancient
cultures have known for years):

Grapefruit seed extract has been used to combat bird flu in the past and scientific studies have shown
it is also effective against MRSA.
